Spring has Sprung!

Hippity Hoppity! We took a trip to Bass Pro to visit the Easter Bunny. Ish was more interested in the big fish tank they have in the back of the store. Needless to say, he was less than enthused with the E-Bunny. Maybe next year we'll get a smile out of you Little Man :)

Little Nagy Names

Adios Kazmer, Robi, Matthew & Roman. Last night, Steve commented that he didn't really care for ANY of the names on my list. That scares the hell out of me. I'm worried (if this baby is a boy) that he wont have a name for the first couple days of his life. I dont want to feel forced into picking a name that both of us aren't TOTALLY in love with. I wish picking a boy name was just as easy as choosing the girl name. I guess all I can really say is that we still have time to decide (luckily). And we still have to wait and see if we are indeed having a boy. Maybe one of these days a name will just magically come to our heads that is PERFECT!

If you have a hard time believing how much older he looks, just imagine how Steve and I feel. Everyday feels like hes getting smarter, growing bigger, and his personality is explosive. One morning Steve, Ish and I were laying bed. Steve farted, Ish made a face and said "Daddy!" in exclamation. He knew who did it. All three of us laughed. He definitely keeps us guessing what he'll do next. I love you Little Man!!

This is a picture of Ish's first piece of art. Mommy helped with the stem, leaves and grass. I wish I would have started doing handprint arts with Ish sooner but better late than never.

but I have another check up in 2 weeks

Its really unbelievable that in 85 short days our whole world will feel like its being turned upside down. I dont think it will take long for us to maintain a normal schedule. I wonder how Ish will respond to the new baby. Everytime there is a baby nearby (or on TV) I make it a point to show the baby to him and simply explain that "Mommy has a baby in her belly". I believe he somewhat understands, as much as an 18 month old can. We are not having ANY luck with Potty Training. We sorta just gave up until Ish can fully communicate or sign that he needs to use the restroom.

Big Brother is Growing UP!

Hey Ish, You are going to be a BIG Brother!! He or She will be here in about 3 months... "What!? You mean there's going to be another baby in the house?!?"

These pictures were taken over the last two weeks. I seperated the pictures by dates with the dotted lines. You get the idea. Ish has been growing up and learning LOTS here lately. Here is a list of all the words he can say: Daddy Mom Duck Bye-Bye Kitty Ball Cheese Dink (drink) Mmm Good! Where Go? (where'd it go) Dee (which means blankie) Oh! (usually when something surprises him he says this) I'm sure I missed something so if I remember I'll update. These are the words he uses on a daily basis and really recognizes when & how to use them.

Lastly, I got 4 years worth of Parenting magazines (44 issues) for $15!! Included in this deal they will send you a free gift Tote Bag. You can also get 3 years worth (33 issues) for $12, but I went with the bigger deal. Click HERE to subscribe. I started getting this magazine shortly after my first pregnancy. I didn't subscribe to it, so I am assuming I had a 'mystery' gifter send it to me. I did find it VERY useful especially since I was a first time mom. Now that we are expecting another little one, it will be nice to catch up on some of the little things that you forget and possibly learn some new stuff!

All these magazines offer fun activities, crafts, recipes, and lots of great advice from experts as well as other parents. I recently subscribed to all of the above magazines and after doing the math it equals out to 40 cents per issue. Thats less than it costs in postage. All in all, I spent $42 and over the time span of 4 years, I'll recieve 105 magazines. Not too shabby!
I was also interested in subscribing to the magazine called All You! (I think it is sold exclusively through Wal*Mart) but at $1.66 an issue it seemed too high. If you go to their website you can find MOST of the same information thats inside there magazine, plus they allow you to clip FREE coupons straight from their website. Plus they have some GREAT recipes. Here is the link to their website!

Ish turned 18 months old on Saturday.

18 Month Stats:

Weight: 27 lb. 2 oz. (60th Percentile)

Length: 31in. (50th Percentile)

Head Circumference: 20in. (97th Percentile)

Everything seems to be right on track with Ish's development

The nurse asked if he says 7-20 words, I said yes, but we are on the lower end of that scale but he is learning so much and he is so smart!!

Dr. Jacob says that Ish is perfect :)

(Yeah, we know!!)

And we are excited about Littlest Nagy being just as wonderful!

6 DOWN...

Goodbye Kende, Rokus, Samuel, Javier, Linus, & Malone!

I made a list of boy names that I would potentially like to name our unborn child. (In my mind, I've already concluded that we are having a boy.) Last night, I asked Steve to eliminate the 3 names he disliked the most from each column. These were the results. I have decided that it would be cute to do a whole article about this subject. Every couple of days we'll eliminate some more names until we've reached our final decision!

You should also know that the names being eliminated are all the choice of Steve. I already know my "Top 5" from each column and as soon as Steve gets down that far, I'll announce which ones I like compared to his favorites. *Hint* He has already knocked out one of my favorites! :(

I'm NOT Fat, I'm Pregnant!!

22 Week Baby Belly
Please know that during my entire pregnancy with Ish, I hid my belly. There was NEVER a true "bump" picture taken of me. I've matured a lot since then....I'm no longer afraid of my showing my bump because it is truly a miraculous experience that I am so honored to share with all of you...

It took me a while to convince myself to love my growing belly. This is me at 22 weeks. Sometimes its hard for me to believe that I am pregnant. But everyday I grow, I know my baby is growing too. That makes me proud of everything I do in order to protect my unborn child.











I still have a long way to go... I cant imagine how much bigger I'll be by 39 weeks. Could it be twins?? Next week we will officially know. Ultrasound in 9 days :)
