Las Vegas Honeymoon

My husband & I at the Pinball Hall of Fame:

I had been wanting to go back to Las Vegas for a long time but between work & being pregnant nothing seemed to be working out. But for our honeymoon, Steve insisted that we deserved a real honeymoon to relax after the few stressful months we had. Boy was he right! We had a great time on our honeymoon, some days were difficult to get through because I truly missed our children. But the great thing about Vegas is that there's always something to do and you can keep busy enough to forget about home for a little longer. A few highlights from our honeymoon (besides In-N-Out Burger and free alcohol) were playing in two poker tournaments. (One of which Steve chopped three ways a $900 pot) I didn't do too bad, I lasted longer than Steve in the first one we played in and really had a great time competing against strangers.

I surprised Steve with a visit to the Pinball Hall of Fame on Tropicana Ave (I recommend checking it out) Its definitely something 'different' to do. They have a lot of old-school arcade style video games and TONS of pinball machines. Its a nice way to spend a hot afternoon or late evening. I was so happy that Steve had a great time there, he even wanted to go back again the next day but we ran out of time that night.

The most adventurous action of our honeymoon was when I decided to do the SkyJump off of the Stratosphere Casino on the Strip. I never in my life thought that I would do something like that and I am so thankful that I got the opportunity to do it. I definitely had an adrenaline rush that I'd never felt before. But I promised Steve that would be the last 'dangerous' thing I would intentionally do for the rest of my life :)

The most surprisingly fun thing we did was go to a Cirque de Soleil show called Zumanity. I know Steve was dreading it, but he promised me he would take me to any show I wanted to see. We both left the theater happy that we went and it was WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I recommend the show to anyone-especially if they want to have a lot of belly laughs! Its not all laughs, there are some serious moments, but its amazing!!!

All Grown Up!

I'm still wondering where the time has gone, I remember the days passing by but looking back now the minutes felt like seconds. I love how much he's grown up and developed a self of himself. He knows so much stuff, things we haven't taught him-but he's learned through watching us. He is a wonderful Big Brother to Sofia. He loves to give her a pacifier-evens when she isn't crying. And just yesterday I watched him as he went over to 'talk' to her and hold her hand. Those are the moments when I wish I had my camera readily at hand. Those moments rarely last long enough to actually photograph. I could go on and on forever about the amazing things he does but I'll keep it short and say that he is smart, funny, handsome and always keeps us on our toes. We can't help but smile when we are around him.

If this picture isn't the definition of sophisticated then I don't know what is....

It's Official!

August 20, 2011-

I married the man of my dreams. I became a wife to the most amazing husband. I know in my heart I am exactly where I'm supposed to be in life. I couldn't ask for a better person to share my life with.

Proud to Announce...

the birth of our healthy baby girl!! Sofia Elizabeth Nagy was born June 30, 2011. She weighed 8lbs 4 oz and was 19-1/4 inches long. She is absolutely perfect and so beautiful. Now 2 months later she is just as much of a joy as the day she was born. She sleeps perfectly through the night and doesn't give us much of a fuss during the day either. We keep her fed and she stays happy. Since her birth she has traveled to many places. We went on two road trips after her birth, one to New York and another to Florida. She is such a trooper! We absolutely love everything about her!! Especially when she smiles at us!! She looks a lot like Ish at that age and still does-except she has big blue eyes, which I'm hoping stick around :)

I ♥ Coupons!!!

This morning I went shopping at Kroger and I absolutely have to brag about how much I paid for these items.

Corn Pops $2.29 each x 2= $4.58

Huggies Pull-Ups Wipes $1.49 x 2 = $2.98

Suave Deodorant $1.08 x 2 = $2.16

Huggies Baby Wipes $1.49

Sargento Cheese $1.99

Total: $13.20 (before coupons)

I paid with

2- .70 Corn Pop Coupons (Dbls to $1.40) so minus $2.80

2- $2 Huggies Pull-Ups Coupons so minus $4.00

2- .75 Suave Deodorant Coupons (Dbls to $1.50) so minus $3.00

1- .50 Huggies Baby Wipes coupon (Dbls to $1.00) so minus $1.00

1- .75 Sargento Cheese coupon (Dbls to $1.50) so minus $1.50

My total Out of Pocket expenses (with tax) came to $1.99!!!! Can you believe it?!

I never knew before that I could buy 8 items at a grocery store for less than $2!! It is amazing and such a rush to be able to achieve this amount of savings. Especially when its items that my family will actually use. It helps that I've been having cravings for Corn Pops for the last couple weeks and the sale is corrsponding with my cravings ;) Plus I think Ishy will enjoy eating these for breakfast!!

Belly Recap ((& only 1 more week to go!!))

The first bump at 22 weeks ((03/05/11))

Here we are at 28 weeks ((04/12/11))

My growing belly at 33 weeks ((05/18/11))

FYI, NOT my favorite picture, but I am sacrificing for my devoted readers ;) at 35 weeks ((06/01/11))

Well on our way to delivery date, 37 weeks ((06/15/11))

Big Ole Belly 38 weeks ((06/22/11))

**Feel free to leave comments on how big I got, I won't be offended--I love my BUMP :)
I have 8 more days til Little Nagy joins our crew. We found out at our appointment this morning that our baby is head down ((and that delivery is expected any day between now and next Thursday)) also my doctor thinks that I have dropped 'a little' --since I am having a scheduled c-section they don't check to see if I am dilated or not so I have no update on that. The baby's heart rate was at 150 which seems mostly consistent with what we've seen throughout this entire pregnancy.

Some days when I go to Perrysburg with just me and Ishy, I get paranoid that my water will break and that contractions will start & I'll have to drive to the hospital in pain with Ishy in the car. I mean, its a legit fear right?! Because we never know WHEN IT COULD HAPPEN! Another thing that bothers me is sitting on the toilet. Since my water broke while I was on the toilet (with my first pregnancy) in the back of my mind, I think that its going to happen that way again- so every time I use the bathroom, I think to myself "Okay, is it going to happen now?" Its silly but its the truth. Well I dont know if I just ran out of things to write about or if my baby brain has made me forget anything else I wanted to tell you...if I remember I'll update, but until then we are counting down the days to delivery!!

Baby Brain (& Belly!)

I hope you didn't think that I forgot about you here at 'Beautiful Tomorrow' although this baby brain of mine does have me VERY forgetful these days!! I've been busy with preparing for this baby along with preparing for our wedding in 2 months!! I only have a few minor wedding details left to worry about and then maybe a lot of 'last minute' stress will be over. I know I will have too many other things wearing me down once the baby gets here. I don't need the wedding stuff to get in the way of taking care of both my babies!! Speaking of my babies, poor Ishy has pink eye in BOTH of his eyes!! I cannot stand to see him ill, along with his pink eye he also has a bad cough that I hope will go away on its own! My baby never gets sick and he chooses now to get DOUBLE sick!! At least its before (and not after) the baby gets here! I just need to make sure the house is scrubbed down and Lysol'ed right for before Little Nagy arrives! Okay, so enough of my ramblings, here is what you are all waiting for....Baby Bump!!!
Believe me, I am as huge as I look!! Its quite strange looking at photos of myself pregnant over time. I cannot believe the progress my belly has made in growing!! Looking back, now I wish I would have taken photos of my pregnant belly with Ishy- but I dont remember have a true 'bump' when I was pregnant with him so I guess thats why I never wanted photos! Only 2 more weeks (and one day) til Little Nagy arrives!!

:)

33 Weeks-- Baby Bump!

33 weeks have passed and LOOK at how much I've grown. Its crazy how much of a baby bump I have! I don't think I ever looked like this with Ish. I know I've definitely gained a lot of weight (still not as much as with Ish) but well enough still. Looking at this picture makes me smile, knowing that my body is doing such a great job providing everything that Little Nagy needs to grow properly! Only 6 more weeks til we get to meet the little one!! Today I put in my Maternity Leave/Time Off request at work. The dates I have requested are June 28 (last day at work) through August 9 (date to return to work). I am taking the full amount of time allowed for leave. Mentally, I am ready for Little Nagy to get here but I know that the house is not ready for a newborn. I'm terrible at being organized!! I know I'll get to it, but I also know I'll put it off til the last minute. Thats just my style!

Latest Pregnancy News

I am severely bloated and have horrible cramps in my right calf. It is not enjoyable, plus this heat we've been experiencing is draining me physically. I don't want to sound like I am complaining but I am just letting you know whats up with Little Nagy & I these days. Hopefully a belly pic will be uploaded one day next week. And maybe you'll get to see my sexy swollen feet, ankles, and calves!! Until then have a wonderful weekend...I'm off to go read a magazine and possibly take a nap!!

Postcard Invitations

Thank you VistaPrint.com!
This is our RSVP POSTcard that will be mailed out with all of the wedding invitations. Of course, I will put a stamp on all of these so that all my guests need to do it mark whether they'll be attending our reception or not, then drop it in the mailbox!! How easy, no messing with envelopes. Plus, they are already marked (on the back) with our address so that saves us from hand writing our address up to 70 times!! What a relief that is for me.
And this is our wonderful Wedding (Yes, Postcard again) Invitation. Even though this is another postcard it will be mailed out in an envelope with the above RSVP card inside. I thought it was a pretty good idea on my behalf-- just sayin'. Also, the two cards are different sizes. The RSVP card is half the size of the wedding invitation.

Please if you notice any misspelling or typos, DONT TELL ME. I will cry. I've looked it over about a ba-jillion times before (and after) I officially ordered them. And if I catch them now, it'll be too late. So spare me the embarrassment.

Elimination & Nominated Names

Alright Folks, These are our top 6 (Steve picked) Baby Names (I took it upon myself to eliminate Elroy. I don't know why it wasn't eliminated sooner, probably just Steve's way of "messing" with me)

Lukacs (pronounced Lu-KA-SH), Patrik, Rezse, David, Markus, Maxwell & Bryant (RE-added by me)

We are officially done eliminating single names as I've come up with a list of First and Middle name combos for this baby (below).
In no particular order:

I left a couple open spaces because Steve informed me last night that he had thought of a 'really good name' but that he had forgotten what it was. I am leaving it open to discussion (granted that he remembers what the name was) because I am always open to new ideas. I know I am not the perfect baby name chooser. Truthfully there are only a couple of names on the above list that I really like, my #1 pick name isn't even on there because I know Steve would eliminate it first and I don't want to get my own hopes up! We have 7 weeks left and 8 names to eliminate, this name choosing process might drag out til the very end, especially if we add a couple more possible names to the list.

Ultrasound Today!!

32 Weeks-- 7 weeks left to go!!

Littlest Nagy was being a tad bit camera shy and was trying to cover up his/her face during the entire appointment, so these are the best pictures we ended up getting. I'm not disappointed at all because we received some great news that our little baby is growing perfectly. Its estimated weight is at 4lbs and the head size is normal! :)

I think in the picture below, this baby looks sooo much like Ish. I am convinced NOW more than ever that its going to be another Nagy Boy!! I better get crackin' on that baby name list.

I am feeling wonderful (minus some annoying leg cramps). Next week I go to the doctor AGAIN for another check up. Today's appointment was an Ultrasound appointment only. I enjoy going to the doctor just so I can hear the doctor say that everything looks good, but I am more than ready for the next 7 weeks to be over already so that I can meet this little guy or gal!! The month of May is a busy month for us and I'm sure June will be just as eventful, especially since we'll be getting ready for this ones arrival the last week of June!!

Tough Decisions!

Dress #1

Dress #2

I have found two beautiful flower girl dresses for my UPCOMING wedding. I have two flower girls ages 3 and 5, should they both wear the same dress or should I have them go down the aisle seperately with two different dresses on. Its such a tough decision because I could see the younger girl in dress #1 and the older girl in dress #2. I don't know why I have to make things like this so hard on myself! Maybe I should just let the parent of these two little girls choose?? Either way I know they will look soo adorable!

Quick Elimination

Steve surprised me this morning by eliminating two more names on our 'Name List'. I didn't ask him to so I guess this is a surprise blog for all of you too!

Steve eliminated Ozkar and Paxton. Since we are getting down to the nitty gritty Steve did eliminate another one of my TOP 5 'Traditional' names but I'm not upset over it at all. (Steve's Top 5 Hungarian names were the same as my TOP 5) I am excited about the possibilities of the names left and hope that we can agree on the perfect name for this baby. I wouldn't be surprised if this baby turns out to be a girl because of all the thought process I went through just to figure out a boy name!! But I am having fun doing it this way!! I think we will only have one more elimination (1 Hungarian name and 2 Traditional names) then we will go into a new elimination process...you shall have to wait and see what I have in mind!

:)

Columbus Zoo!

We stopped at our favorite restaurant in Mount Vernon before we headed to Columbus.
Allison's Finer Diner!!
They have Strawberry Pancakes.

Ish says they are MMmmmMmmm GOOD!!!

Daddy stopped at McD's to get Ish a snack. Ish fell asleep (with a french fry in his hand) on our way to the Columbus Zoo!!

Zooming Around the Zoo!

Daddy pushing Ish in his buggy.

We were only there for 10 minutes and already Steve wants to take a nap!!

At the first exhibit::

POLAR BEARS!!

Mr. Bear catching some Z's, I could hear him snoring through the glass!

Ishy and Daddy getting a closer look.

An extra close view of the fish in this tank. Ish absolutely loves the fish!

A stop at the Playground area.

Wee!!! Down the slide we go!!

At the elephant exhibit, Ish had to nearly stand up to see the elephants walking around. I was surprised he enjoyed watching them so much.

Of course I tried to take a 'boys' photo together but Ish wouldn't cooperate.

But I did get two nice shots of them walking and holding hands together. As a parent, I was so proud that Ish insisted on holding hands for almost the entire trip (when he was outside of his 'buggy') He really is growing into such a 'big boy' :)

More sleeping animals. It must have been nap time at the Zoo!

Mommy and Ish standing near the waterfall. (I dont even look 7 months pregnant from the front)

A better shot of the 'guys'

Inside the Aquarium::

Ish was loving the 'Big' Fishes!

We probably could have spent all day inside there. Ish would laugh and giggle as the fish swam by him and he DEFINITELY wanted to touch them!

On the Carousel::

Everything started out alright...

And then fear set in....

Then came the screams and tears!!

But then Daddy saved the day! Our Hero!!

At the Kangaroo Exhibit::

Kangaroos pretty much have full range on where they want to go. The only thing seperating you from them is a "fence" a stick attached to a thick wood poles. Its cool for the kids but as a parent I'm not too sure about how "safe" that could possibly be!

A big ole gorilla..

Ish leaning back in his buggy. We were nearing the end of the zoo and I think he could sense it was almost time to go.

BIG KUDOS to ANYONE who can identify what this animal is....

I thought it was some kinda Zebra but the proper name for this animal is Opaki. I'd never heard of it before but I found it quite interesting.

Flamingos:: Aren't they beautiful??

Time out for a 'Couple' Pictures

Needless to say, The Nagy Family has a great trip to the Columbus Zoo! Can't wait to do it again next year...WITH our little addition :)

Ishy on the ride back to the resort. I think the sun was in his eyes or maybe it was the flash causing him to squint.
